Gathering Baskets UPDATE

Here's my Gathering Basket blocks.
I stitched all the baskets together and need to sew the borders.
Hopefully I could finish putting it all together by the end of this month.

Meanwhile I went to my LQS The Fat Quarters quilt shop today and purchased all the books pictured above.
Maggie Bonanomi's newest book is the one I've been looking forward to get.

I also signed up for Renee Plain's class at The FQ.
We'll make this quilt which is called
"My old neighborhood"

Isn't it lovely?
This class will begin on the 8th of Oct (Sat) 10AM-2PM.

If you have the time and want to spend a good time with us
there are a few spot still open.

Ask Michelle she'll give you more Info on this class. :-)

We will never forget.

Semper Fi,

Thanks you for the beautiful commit. Yes all those Marines were appliqué on the border. I made this quilt for my Marine while he was on one of his Afghanistan deployments.

What's in my purse

Well, Do you remember when I was working on this wool project??

I made this purse a long time ago but I haven't had a chance to post pics.
So here it is....

Open the purse, and

out comes my precious Mr. iPad.

Finish'n 1,2,3

I've been working on several different projects and here's some of quilts that I finally finished. Sighsh....

"Twinkle, Twinkle" patterned by Jo Morton

" Jo Morton's pattern called "Courthouse Steps".

I hand quilted this quilt with big stitches. My friend Lisa said that would be fun. I used DMC pearl cotton thread #8.

" Hexagon Flowers Doll Quilt" patterned by Kathleen Tracy.

This little cutie will travel over the Pacific Ocean and reach one of my dear friend in Japan very soon. :-)
